The F150BL V3 boasts the following improvements over the F150X: The most significant modification is the extensive redesign and reshaping of the remote control, which utilizes GWY's advanced AHSS (registered) wireless frequency hopping control technology and protocol to operate the 150 tiny aircraft. Only five channels are available on the Airwolf; the remaining thirteen are set aside for future feature updates. This makes the new RC system professional, even though the air protocol can accommodate up to eighteen channels. This remote control can be used with any fixed-wing, cross-plane, helicopter, vehicle, boat, and so forth using ESKY's receiver (GWY). Remember that to allow six or more channels, the remote control must be equipped with certain parts, such as switches, buttons, sliders, etc.

Upgrades to the structure include LED lights at the tail that turn on when the helicopter is in flight and off when it comes to a stop. Instead of being directly attached to the fuselage, this LED light is connected to the tail motor, which is mounted on the aircraft's tail.
