Startup steps:
1. Remove the little safety valve's screw and fill it with water. The capacity can only be increased by two thirds, leaving just one third of the boiler available for steam production. Lubricating oil should be added to the engine's piston and moving components.

2. Remove the bottom screw from the alcohol lamp and fill it with two-thirds of its capacity. To start heating the little boiler, twist the alcohol lamp and light it.

3. The steamer can typically be started by turning the little flywheel counterclockwise with the finger on the opposite side of the flywheel after the boiler has been heated for a few minutes and when steam is visible at the machine's exit.
