The Alpha-Type Twin-Cylinder Twin-Piston Stirling Engine is a novel design that combines the functions of two separate, identical cylinders for power generation and heat exchange. A substantial temperature differential that results from one cylinder producing heat while the other cools down acts as a constant power source. The engine attains ideal compression ratios thanks to its 20mm power cylinders and stainless steel heating tubes on both sides.

The two cylinders' connecting rods are joined via a gear arrangement with a 2:1 intended gear ratio rather than directly. Stable functioning is ensured by the crankshaft, which runs at 1000 rpm, and a strong 78mm, 155g flywheel, which runs at 2000 rpm. The engine runs quietly and smoothly thanks to its 14 precise bearings. GCR15 bearing steel, which is CNC machined, quenched to raise its hardness to 58–62 HRC, and precision ground to ±0.005 mm, is used to prolong the life of cylinders and pistons. Compact yet sturdy, the engine measures 200138125mm and weighs 1.8kg thanks to its huge flywheel, twin cylinders, dual pistons, dual gears, brass connecting rods, crankshaft, and dual 10mm aluminum alloy supports.
