Engine-Startup Techniques:

(1) Install 3 AA batteries (4.5V), attach the fuel tank fuel tube, and examine the engine circuits from the wooden foundation; 

(2) Fill the tank with 95# of fuel. To make the mixed fuel enter the cylinder, repeatedly turn the flywheel on the right side of the engine (the surface of the power switch) clockwise. Ensure that the fuel tubing is free of air; 

(3) To start the engine on the right side (power switch surface), turn the power switch on, then swiftly crank the flywheel clockwise. Precautions:

(1) If the ignition system and cylinder compression are both standard, the machine won't start; in such case, the carburetor oil needle adjustment is required; 

(2) To restore an average gasoline-to-air mixing ratio, remove the 1/4 ring on the carburetor after tightening the main oil needle; 

(3) After the machine's operation, the power switch must be switched off.
